About Us

The MVP Blog was founded in January of 2022 by Ryan Macdonald and Ben Pawlak.

Ryan is an avid Minnesota sports fan. His rooting interests lie with the Vikings, Timberwolves and the Twins. He cheers on the University of Minnesota and Notre Dame for college sports. Ryan is also a big golf fan. Ryan earned an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sport Management and a Master’s in Education as well.

Ben’s teams are all over the map, but they all originate from his family’s roots in Buffalo, New York. He is a diehard Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and New York Yankees fan (as you’d expect), but he is also a fan of the Dallas Mavericks and Brentford FC. Ben currently attends the University of Michigan, and he has been a Michigan Wolverines fan for his entire life. He is studying Sport Management at the School of Kinesiology with the hope of finding a job in the sport industry someday.
